I am a mother first; a person second, and so are you.

Hello!

My name is Caroline, and I am mother to two amazing girls and our sweet baby boy, Oliver, our cat. Along with my partner, we sought to be present and be the best parents we can be for our girls. I work nights, and he works days. During the day, I play, dance, and explore. By night, I am a loud, punk surviving night shift with one caffeine drink at a time. Exhaustion is an under statement.

I am a parent who believes in the power of community and connection, and to me, life isn’t meant to be lived alone—it’s about sharing stories, supporting one another, and growing together through every season. I have had personal experience on loneliness in parenthood: its not easy.

Writing is one of my greatest passions. It’s how I reflect, express myself, and connect with others on a deeper level. Whether I’m putting my thoughts into words or simply capturing everyday moments, writing helps me make sense of the world around me. I am a mother first, but at times, I just want to be a girl writing with her cat and massive cup of coffee on the couch.

Motherhood has shaped me in so many ways, and it has also shown me the importance of having a space where we can be real, uplift each other, and feel understood. That’s what I hope to create here: a place where honesty, encouragement, and community come first.

I’m glad you’re here!

Blog info:

Overall, this is a place of understanding and support. The blog will provide relatable stories and daily happenings in parenthood. Either it is words of encouragement, or it is a simple share of experiences. Along with my writing blog, I hope to bring helpful tips and honest product reviews that has made our lives easier. As working parents on opposite shifts, we need all the help we can get.

Wednesdays will be my official blog post days along with updates.
